Does Canada want to "decriminalize" the buying of sex?
About the Vancouver Collective Against Sexual Exploitation
The Vancouver Collective Against Sexual Exploitation (VCASE) is a non-partisan group of diverse individuals and organizations who have come together as a single voice to end all forms of sexual exploitation. VCASE advocates for the survivors of sexual exploitation in prostitution, pornography, and human trafficking. VCASE hears and amplifies the voices of those who have been silenced by the exploiters. Regions which have decriminalized sex buying have seen increases in demand for paid sex, human trafficking inflows, criminal activity, and long-term physical harm and emotional trauma of survivors. Fully decriminalizing the buying of sex institutionalizes exploitation.
